Blackstone Cat Shot With Arrow: Police
Blackstone police suspect the arrow may have been shot from a crossbow.
BLACKSTONE, MA — A pet cat was euthanized Thursday night after police said it was shot with an arrow in Blackstone. Police said the arrow was short and possibly fired from a crossbow. An investigation was started to find the shooter.
A caller reported at 7 p.m. Thursday that someone's pet cat had been shot with an arrow on Old Mendon Street. The owners of the cat took it to an animal hospital and then it was taken to Tufts Animal Hospital in Grafton.
The cat's injuries were deemed too severe and it was euthanized.
