On a blustery day at Milford High School it took three innings but the
Milford bats finally came alive against visiting Foxboro...for seven runs. This
was more than enough for Shannon Smith who threw her 8th complete game of the
season allowing 1 hit and striking out 15. Milford scored 2 more runs in the 5th
giving them the 9-0 win. Five Milford batters had 2 hits: Lauren Hannah (rbi),
Sam Bonvino (2 rbi), Shannon Smith, Caroline Fairbanks(2 rbi) and Taylor LeBrun.
Rachel Levine (2 rbi) and Giovanna Arcudi (rbi) each had 1 hit for Milford and
Lizzie Stallone had an rbi.
