An Overview of My Blog (And Why I Love Patch)

Well, I'll start out with something I have said to former local editor  maybe a thousand times: I love Patch.

I feel that the method of delivering news on Patch is top-notch, and I am glad to have been a part of it. I have written two articles, and , shot , been a , added three s, contributed photos to two sports articles, and ,  and . And I have contributed to part of.

Basically, I love Patch. And if you ask me about it, I'll say it again.

On Patch, and elsewhere, I am a photographer. I recently had a weekend gig in upstate New York, where I took about 2,000 pictures. I run my own website, danieldbruce.com, which contains photos from events I have shot. The photos on my site are availble for, not only viewing, but also purchase.

That being said, I have been asked to blog on Milford Patch. Some guidelines for what I plan on doing:

• My blog will not have a steadfast theme. Some blogs are purely political, some are all about science topics and others only discuss religion. I may incorporate any of these, although I may shy away from religion, as it's a touchy topic.
• I will try to post at least once every two weeks. If something comes up, I may not post for three weeks, but in other instances, I may post every week.
• I will post pictures I have taken in my blog. These pictures will be current, shot in the time since the last post.
• I may or may not include tips and techniques for photography. These tips will help you to become a better photographer yourself, as I believe the majority of people have it in them.
