After searching for two days on google and Facebook, it's become very obvious to me that there is no such thing as a beach where you can bring both your kids and your dog.
There are some places out by the cape, but that's pretty far for your everyday beach trip. I have a friend who got turned away at Pout Pond in Uxbridge yesterday, even though thier sight says you can bring a dog leashed. I've heard rumors about Hopkington State Park having a dog area, but thier sight says "no dogs allowed". I've also heard rumors about Wallum Lake. Can anyone confirm or denie any of these spots?
Our pups need to cool off too! Any body out there know of any good spots to bring your dog swimming that's kid friendly as well? Or vice versa? And any tips on keeping our pets cool at home?

P.S. Here's a tip for dog owners we've been using for 2 days. We froze some treats and a baseball in a bowl of water... he cools off while trying to get through the ice to the treats :)
