My Little Grain of Sand III Event Saturday!

This is a reminder that the Mi Granito de Arena III Event is being held Saturday, October 6th, at the Milford Youth Center. We are accepting shoe donations, and monetary donations, to help pay for shipping costs for the shoes, to be donated to youth in the Dominican Republic in December!

Last year over 100 youth were given sneakers with an outfit as a holiday gift, due to the generosity of so many local families. We will be collecting new or gently used sneakers (and shoes and sandals) for youth of the Los Cocos region of Boca Chica in the Dominican Republic on Saturday, October 6th at "Mi Granito de Arena III - My little Grain of Sand III" event being held at the Milford Youth Center from 6-9 PM. You can drop off shoes during the after-school program between 2:15-6PM (Mon-Fri) or at the event.

Rev. Jose Medina of Framingham and Milford volunteers will return to the Dominican Republic in December to distribute the sneakers! The group is looking to finish the creation of an educational center in the region of Los Cocos -Boca Chica.

In addition to the sneakers, we are also collecting textbooks, school supplies, book bags, used/new sewing machines and used computers. If you have any questions please contact Rev Jose Medina.
