Stallone Homers twice, Smith Throws a Perfect Game to Get Milford Back On Track

Milford beats Attleboro 13-0 in 5

Milford jumped all over host Attleboro early and often for a dominant win
on Wednesday. The Milford bats came alive and the game was called in the 5th due
to the league mercy rule. After a tough loss on Monday, Milford bounced back
with 14 hits and a perfect game from pitcher Shannon Smith (13 K’s). The Milford
offense scored 2 in the first inning, 3 in the second, 1 in the third and blew
the game wide open with 7 runs in the 4th. Hitters for Milford: Lauren Hannah
(3-3), Sam Bonvino (single), Shannon Smith (2-3, hr, 3 rbi), Caroline Fairbanks
(double, 2 rbi), Rachel Levine (2-3, rbi), Taylor LeBrun (single), Allie
Piergustavo (double, rbi), Lizzie Stallone (2 hr, 3 rbi), Giovanna Arcudi
(double), Leah Murray (walk).
