Candidate Attends Kids Count of Milford Legislative Breakfast

MILFORD, CT - From The Milford Yacht Club: On April 4, 2018, Alderwoman and 119th District State Representative Candidate Ellen Beatty joined Kids Count of Milford at their Annual Legislative Breakfast at the Milford Yacht Club in honoring Christine Kennedy. Kennedy, Milford’s Special Education Supervisor, was awarded the “Champion of Young Children Award” for her dedication to Milford’s families. Kids Count is a non-profit organization that focuses on children from birth to age five by promoting their emotional, educational, physical and social well-being. The goal of Kids Count is to provide the support and resources necessary to maximize school readiness. Beatty stated, “I’m delighted to attend this event and have been so deeply impressed with the caliber of professionals who educate our children. Christine Kennedy has been an invaluable resource for children and parents and so deserving of this honor.”
