Car Hits Memorial Elementary School In Milford
One student was evaluated, and there was minor damage to the building, according to officials.
MILFORD, MA — A car drove into a Milford elementary school on Thursday morning, sending one student to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at Memorial Elementary, according to NBC 10. There was minor damage to the building, but nothing structural. Superintendent Kevin McIntyre told the station the student was taken to the hospital "out of an abundance of caution."
Memorial Elementary is located at 12 Walnut St. and was open as usual on Friday.
