MILFORD, MA — Here's a sample of some types of calls the Milford Police Department respond to each day from the police logs, which are public. Arrests do not imply conviction and just because someone reports a crime does not mean it happened that way.

Friday, May 3

7:30 a.m.: A two car accident is reported at the intersection of Cedar Street and I-495. No injuries are reported.

10:23 a.m.: Someone reported a yellow Labrador Retriever was running loose near East Main Street and Fortune Boulevard.

1:00 p.m.: An officer is called to Stacey Middle School.

3:00 p.m.: A car crashed into a pole on Maple Street. National Grid was called to check the damage to the pole.

6:05 p.m.: Several people reported seeing a cow roaming in the road on Beaver Street.

11:24 p.m.: Someone called reporting a disturbance at Rockwood Court. the caller said the woman involved would not leave. Police took the woman into protective custody because she was drunk.

Saturday, May 4

11:08 a.m.: An alarm company alerted police there was heavy smoke coming from the Countryside Healthcare facility. It turned out to be burned toast in the staff dining room.

11:30 a.m.: A car accident is reported at Winter Street and Main Street with an injury.

12:18 p.m.: Police arrest a man after a car accident on Beach Street. The man is charged with OUI.

Sunday, May 5

2:04 a.m.: Officers responded to reports of a loud party happening in an apartment on Congress Street. While the officers were leaving they were stopped by another resident in the building who said water was coming in through her ceiling. When officers went to see what was causing the issue they found a man in the apartment above her was flooding the bathroom. His water was shut off.

2:20 p.m.: Someone reported their phone had been stolen and tracked it back to a liquor store on East Main Street.

4:12 p.m.: An employee at the Lowe's Home Improvement Store on Fortune Boulevard reported an assault with someone else in the appliance section of the store.

8:11 p.m.: Someone complained about loud music being played at the Tomaso Field on Beach Street.
