Police: Woonsocket Man Found Dead in Milford, Likely Suicide

A dead body was discovered in Milford Thursday morning.

At 7:02 a.m., police received a report of a male on the ground on Cedar Street by Route 495. According to the entry in the Milford Police Log, the caller told police that the body was near a blue Nissan with a rifle and appeared to be expired.

The victim was identified as John Young of Woonsocket, R.I. according to MassLive. 

An autopsy will be conducted, but the district attorney’s offices said Young died of “an apparent self-inflicted gun wound.”
