DESE Will Assess Milford Schools In December
A team from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will be in town the week of Dec. 1.

A team from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) will be in Milford the week of Dec. 1 to examine the district’s progress “in improving student achievement.”
“I welcome the review as a way of helping us to assess our practices and to benefit from whatever recommendations the review team members may make to help us continue to improve instruction in the Milford Public Schools,” Superintendent Robert A. Tremblay said in a press release.
The DESE goal is to identify practices that contribute to increasing student success and to point out areas in which the practices can be improved, the press release said.
