Arts and Crafts Time

Arts and Crafts Time is a three-session arts and crafts class with projects designed for all abilities, for special needs children aged 14 and above who would benefit from a supportive social connection.

Participants can attend some or all of the sessions, organized by the Milford-area parent group Special Communities.

The cost is $10 for each session, which can be paid upfront.

Special Communities, which has organized this course, was formed in 2010 with the mission that families with individuals with special needs would work collectively to create opportunities that address the needs of the family, the individual, as well as the community by sharing resources, developing programs, and supporting and encouraging the use of existing programs. The goal is to collaborate with other agencies in the community, including local school systems.
