Greenleaf Garden Club of Milford - March Meeting

The Greenleaf Garden Club of Milford’s March program will feature John Herbert Alexander III, plant propagator at the Arnold Arboretum. John will discuss and demonstrate “Springtime Propagation”. John will demonstrate the propagation techniques of starting plants from seed, cuttings and grafting.

Alexander has been the plant propagator at the Arnold Arboretum since 1976 and is a third generation nurseryman. His job is to “encourage seeds to germinate and to grow roots onto sticks.” John has been made a Fellow of the International Plant Propagation Society and has been presented with an Award of Merit by the Society in 2004.

A $5.00 donation is requested from non-members.
