Preschool Music and Movement

Director Lenny Morcone and the Milford Community School Use Program are offering another session of the Preschool Music and Movement class for infants through age 5.

This program is instructed by Fran Currul, retired Milford Public Schools music teacher, and "is a class in movement, music and creative dramatics. Classes provide learning experiences while bonding parent/caretaker and child through exploration and experimentation in a creative and challenging setting. These classes include songs, finger plays, poems, dramatic story-telling, circle games, use of age appropriate percussion instruments, puppets, parachute activities and dance. These activities stimulate creative expression, develop fine and gross motor skills, and eye-hand coordination. They also assist in language acquisition and influence social and emotional learning."

Registration forms and fees must be submitted to the Milford Community Program office located at 31 West Fountain St. prior to the start of the program.
