Family Fun Fishing Day Coming To River Bend Farm In Uxbridge

The 7th annual event is cohosted by Open Sky Community Services, Riverbend Farm and the Blackstone River National Heritage Corridor.

UXBRIDGE, MA — An annual fishing event for families will return in June along the Blackstone River National Heritage Corridor. The 7th annual Family Fun Fishing Day is being headed up by Worcester-based Open Sky Community Services.

Open Sky Community Services is excited to co-host the 7th Annual Family Fun Fishing Day at Riverbend Farm in Uxbridge along with the Blackstone River National Heritage Corridor Volunteers-in-Parks Program, the Blackstone River Watershed Association, Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation, Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife.

This year's event will be held on June 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a rain date of June 5. There will be activities for the whole family and food and ice cream will be available for purchase from GottaQ BBQ and the Sweet Wise Ice Cream truck. All ages and ability levels welcome. Fishing poles, bait and instruction will be available with pre-registration and participants are welcome to bring their own.
