Fire Destroys Home In Bellingham For Second Time In Recent Years

The fire broke out late Tuesday night along Stone Street south of Route 109.

BELLINGHAM, MA — A large 2-alarm fire destroyed a home late Tuesday night, the second devastating fire to hit the building in the last decade.

The fire broke out near 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at 7 Stone St. south of Route 109. The residents made it out before the fire caused the home to collapse, but dogs who lived in the home were missing, according to reports.

The home burned to the ground in 2009 with a resident narrowly escaping before the roof collapsed during an early morning fire.
