MILFORD, MA- Milford Regional Medical Center welcomed the first baby of 2019 at 4:23 a.m. yesterday.Little Madelyn Visbeek, was welcomed by mom, Allison Kearney and dad, Zachary Visbeek of Webster. She arrived at 4:23 a.m. on Jan. 1, weighing 6 lbs. 15 oz. and measuring 20 ¼ inches long. Baby Madelyn was greeted with so much love by her two big sisters- Kayleigh and Averie. Kearney has been under the care of Dr. Xiaojing Tao of Caring for Women in Milford. According to the <a href="https://www.milforddailynews.com/news/20190101/first-baby-of-new-year-at-milford-regional-arrives-at-423-am" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Milford Daily News</a>, Kearney is a doctoral student at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science and a pharmacy intern for CVS. The couple plans to take Madelyn home Thursday morning. Claflin Hill is excited to officially announce the return of the Claflin Hill Youth Symphonies.Young musicians who love music, enjoy performing, and are looking for a meaningful and inspiring musical community are invited to audition.
For many years, the Claflin Hill Youth Symphonies gave students throughout the MetroWest and Greater Milford region the opportunity to perform serious orchestral repertoire, grow as musicians, and build lasting friendships. Many of those former students are now music educators and professional musicians themselves — and several are returning to help lead this exciting new chapter.

Students with at least one year of private study or school instrumental experience are encouraged to apply. We are seeking string, woodwind, brass, and percussion students for our inaugural ensembles.
