Grant Money Given For Town IT Update: Admin Report

MILFORD, MA — As part of his report at a recent Board of Selectmen meeting, Town Administrator Richard Villani gave an update on the Community Compact IT.

Villani relayed that the first installment of the grant from the Executive Office for Administration and Finance in the amount of $9,375 for a town website upgrade to enhance citizen engagement through the Community

Compact.

Milford will then contract with Virtual Towns and Schools to implement the upgrade. Once the project is complete the town receives $3,125, the remainder of the grant funds. He expects completion by October of this year.
