Hazmat Incident At Milford Regional Medical Center
Fire crews were on scene for a patient brought in to Milford Regional with possible mercury poisoning.

MILFORD, MA- Fire crews were on scene at Milford Regional Medical Center Thursday morning after a patient was brought in with potential mercury poisoning.
Hospital officials say the patient had bitten a thermometer containing mercury and was brought in for potential mercury poisoning.
Hazmat officers were called in to escort the patient in and remained on scene with fire crews to ensure other patient's safety.
