How Did Milford do at the Falmouth Road Race?

Sunday morning, over 10,000 runners made the 7-mile run from Wood’s Hole, up the coast of Falmouth to Grand Avenue at Falmouth Heights Beach as part of the 43rd annual Falmouth Road race.

Among the finishers were 20 runners from Milford, 21-year-old Shawn Lice was the fastest resident with a time of 43:54.Caitlin Egan was the fastest Milford woman with a time of 52:15.

Kenyan international runner Stephen Sambu was the overall winner, crossing the finish line with a time of 32:17. Diane Nukur of Burundi won the women’s division in 36:47.
