ICYMI: It's Listed for Rent, But Stop & Shop Says It Isn't Going Anywhere
Building owners apparently want to increase the rates for the Quarry Square Shopping Center.
MILFORD, MA—It is apparently listed as being for lease, but Stop & Shop in Milford isn't going anywhere.
A union official told the Milford Daily News that there are no plans to close the store, and that an agent is in the process of negotiating terms with property owners Farfard Real Estate.
Farfard reportedly wants to increase the rent, but does not want to close the 54,764 square foot store.

On Thursday, the property was still listed on Loopnet as a "negotiable" rental rate, and an "anchor store at Quarry Square Shopping Center." The date the listing was created was July 25 of this year.
