Man Charged With Assaulting Officer After OUI Crash In Milford
Police said the 58-year-old became combative, striking one officer and threatening to sexually assault another.
MILFORD, MA — A Holliston man is facing multiple charges, including assault and battery on a police officer, following a hit-and-run crash and alleged drunken driving incident Monday night, police said.
Milford police received a call reporting a hit-and-run crash at the Nouria gas station, 97 Cedar St, shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday. The caller reported that a silver Audi SUV struck another vehicle before fleeing toward Fortune Boulevard, where it was involved in a second crash.
Responding officers found the Audi backed into a stone wall on Fortune Boulevard, across from the gas station, police said.

Milford police released CCTV footage showing the SUV traveling in reverse into a parked black pickup truck, then continuing over a grass island, across Fortune Boulevard, and ultimately crashing into a wall.
Officers then arrested Joseph Marsden, 58, on suspicion of operating under the influence, Milford police said.

While in custody, police said Marsden became assaultive, striking one officer and threatening to sexually assault another.
“I reviewed the video of the incident, and it is a shock that no one was injured,” Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino said.
Marsden was charged with Operating under the influence of liquor, Leaving the scene of property damage, Negligent operation of a motor vehicle, Resisting arrest, Assault and battery on a police officer, Disturbing the peace, Disorderly conduct, and Malicious destruction of property (over $1,200).
