Man Charged With Running Into Person In Wheelchair, Taking Off: Milford Police

Sunday, April 30

2:26 a.m.: Caller reporting the party in the room next to her there is loud screaming and yelling and she believes there is also a physical altercation happening. Room 228 or 230. Units spoke to female in 228. She has a cold and has been coughing all night. Other rooms on the floor had TVs on. No other noises were found. Comfort Inn.

3:33 a.m.: SP reporting a disconnect with caller who believes someone was trying to break into their house. SP states caller was talking very quietly and then hung up. No answer on call back number that was provided. Officer states they spoke to caller and house is secure. Negative results showing of anyone on foot in the area. 27 Farese Road.

4:49 a.m.: Caller reports a large fight between 10-15 males. Officer states it was a group of 4 individuals heading home. 71 High St.

8:37 a.m.: Caller reporting a large amount of construction waste dumped on the path, Prezo Grille and Bar

11:25 a.m.: Caller reporting hit and run. No suspect vehicle available. 96 High St.

2:04 p.m.: Caller to file a report regarding a larceny of a bicycle, 14 Senate Road

3:04 p.m.: Caller reporting she returned home and her front window was smashed in with an orange. 32 Taft St.

8:10 p.m.: Caller reporting a pedestrian struck in her wheel chair. State reports good Samaritan followed vehicle and was able to provide plate number. State is out with that vehicle in the town of bellingham. Patrick Pereira, 29, Broad Street, Medway, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of personal injury, negligent operation of motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of MV, crosswalk violation (two counts), leave scene of property damage
