Meet The Milford Candidates: Annual Town Election

There are five contested races in Milford. Meet the candidates.

MILFORD, MA — The Milford town election is being held on Tuesday, April 4, and there are five contested races this year.

They are:

  • Joshua Lioce and Charles Skaff are running for a 1-year term on the Board of Assessors.
  • Mike Visconti is running against incumbent John Cook for a 5-year term on the Planning Board.
  • Nadine Ladeau, Robert Sheedy, and Scott Vecchiolla are running for ONE 2-year Constable term.
  • Jessica Labrecque, Harold Rhodes, and Mike Walsh are running for the Board of Selectmen seat being vacated by Selectman Brian Murray. The winner of this race will serve a 2-year term.
  • John Erickson is running against incumbent Bill Buckley for a 3-year seat on the Board of Selectmen.

To provide all of Milford’s voters the opportunity to get to know the candidates and ask them questions, Citizens for Milford is hosting its fourth annual Candidates Forum on Thursday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall at Saint Mary’s Church.

"We have invited all of these candidates to participate by giving short statements and answering questions from the audience," said the statement from Citizens for Milford. "We have also invited candidates who are running unopposed to join us for the 'meet and greet' time."
