Milford 2020 Town Meeting Warrant Released

MILFORD, MA — Milford has released the full warrant for the June 29 annual Town Meeting. Meeting members will deal with a range of issues, from the town budget to a new pedestrian and bike crossing across Route 85.
Town Meeting was put off due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Board of Selectmen first authorized postponing the meeting in mid-April amid a raft of other town closures. The meeting was originally set for May 18, but the Selectmen picked June 29 as the makeup date.
The meeting is tentatively scheduled to take place at the Milford High School auditorium, but a handful of Town Meeting members have asked the moderator to consider offering a remote option. Local towns like Natick and Brookline have elected to hold Town Meeting remotely either wholly or in part due to coronavirus, which is still spreading across Massachusetts.
