Milford Coronavirus Cases Rise Again, State Data Show

The average number of new cases each day in Milford is growing, according to the data.

MILFORD, MA — For the second week in a row, state health data show coronavirus cases rising in Milford.

On Wednesday, the state Department of Public Health reported Milford was seeing 4.9 new cases per day on average over the last week. In the state's Sept. 16 report, that average was 4.4 cases per day.

There have been 421 coronavirus tests in Milford over the last two weeks with six positive results. That's a 1.43 percent positive test rate over that period. The statewide average is 0.85 percent. Last week, Milford's positive test rate was 1.63 percent.

Milford remained a yellow "moderate risk" community, although nearby Holliston and Marlborough joined the red "high risk" group. Westborough and Ashland are also in the moderate risk group.
