Milford Hazardous Waste Disposal Event Seeks Noxious Chemicals
Bring all your unwanted antifreeze, pool chemicals and lighter fluid for this disposal event.
MILFORD, MA — Milford will host a hazardous waste disposal event in early November seeking all the most noxious chemicals from around your home.
The Nov. 5 event will run 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rain or shine) at the highway department building along Front Street. The event is free for residents with proof, but is not open to commercial businesses, according to the health department.
The event is mainly for chemical substances, but Milford does accept items like light bulbs, TVs, computer monitors, paint, car batteries and motor oil at the transfer station along Cedar Street. Those items won't be accepted at the Nov. 5 event.
