Milford To Host Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics
The flu clinics will be open to Milford residents 6 months or older, according to the Board of Health.
MILFORD, MA — Milford residents will be able to get free flu vaccines at an upcoming drive-thru clinic hosted by the Board of Health.
The Oct. 7 clinic will take place in two parts: from 9 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. The clinics are open to anyone over 6 months, but the Board of Health is recommending that residents visit the town website to make a time slot reservation.
The state is pushing all residents to get a flu shot this year to avert a potential "twindemic" — where people sick with either the flu or coronavirus overwhelm local hospitals.
