Milford Legislators Land $52K Of Budget To Continue Substance Abuse Program

Legislators have secured more than $50,000 for substance abuse.

MILFORD, MA—Lawmakers for Milford—State Sen. Ryan Fattman and Rep. Brian Murray—said last week that $52,000 has been included in the state budget for a regional substance abuse program.

The budget that includes the funds is headedto Gov. Charlie Baker for approval, reports Milford Daily News, and the funding would go toward continuing services. Hopedale also signed on to appropriate a share and Upton and Holliston are interested in joining, as well.
