Milford Liquor Store's New Commercial 'Takes Back Christmas'
The very local commercial is making waves nationally with its strong "Merry Christmas" message.
MILFORD, MA—Debate still swirls around the appropriate greeting for the holiday season, with some hanging on to "Merry Christmas," and others adopting the generic "Happy Holidays."
Charlie Hickey, owner of Hickey's Wine and Spirits in Milford, thought he'd make his thoughts on it loud and clear when he came up with the commercial for his business this year.
"It's the Christmas Season - people should lighten up," he told Patch.
