Milford Man Charged After Hitting Multiple Parked Cars

MILFORD, MA — A Milford man was arrested and charged early Sunday morning after he hit multiple parked cars along a street in a north end neighborhood, according to police.

Police responded to Ragged Hill Road just after midnight Sunday when a 911 caller reported that multiple cars had been hit, and the driver had run into the woods heading toward Purchase Street.

Police later located Michael Alves, 34, of Essex Avenue, in the woods, and he was a taken to a local hospital. He was released just after 6 a.m. Sunday, and police arrested him and charged him with operating while intoxicated, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage.
