The store worker told police Ruben Morales pushed and kicked him and put his hands near his throat.
MILFORD, MA — A Milford man reeking of alcohol recently attacked a worker at Ecuatorianas Variedade, police said in a report Thursday. Ruben Morales was charged with assault and battery.
Police said officers were dispatched to the Ecuadorian variety store, located at 140 Main St. When officers arrived, one of them recognized Morales from past interactions and asked him what happened, according to the report. Morales told the officer he had an issue with the man in the store and he pushed him. When the officer asked why, Morales repeatedly said he was "sick of his s**t," according to the report.
The officer noted it was clear Morales had been drinking, as he could smell alcohol on him, according to the report.
