Milford Man Struck Pedestrian Holding Toddler, Fled: Police
The arrest comes after law enforcement searched for the suspect for 10 days following the hit-and-run accident, police said.

MILFORD, MA — A Milford man is accused of striking a pedestrian carrying a 2-year-old child and then fleeing, according to police.
Luis Cajilema Tene, 28, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (child under 14), reckless endangerment of a child, and two counts of assault and battery.
He is accused of striking a woman carrying a toddler with a gray sedan he was driving on Central Street on Nov. 10 at 8:15 a.m.

He then fled the state before returning to Milford this week. The arrest comes after law enforcement searched for Cajilema Tene for 10 days.
Milford police, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, and the US Marshals Service caught him Tuesday at 5:21 a.m. while conducting surveillance on Central Street.
