10-Year-Old Milford Girl Tied up During Home Invasion

The Milford Police Department is investigating the matter.

Milford Police are investigating a home invasion that resulted in a child getting tied to a chair.

At approximately 2:43 p.m., Milford police received a call from the child’s uncle, who told police that his niece was tied up and a party pointed a gun at her while he was away from the room.

The mother, whose identity has not been released, said the man entered the house through an unlocked door while her 10-year-old daughter was sleeping in a front room according to WCVB.

After the home invader woke the child up with a gun, she was tied up with tape and had her mouth taped shut.

The girl’s mother was not home at the time and her brother and sister-in-law apparently did not hear the commotion in the front room. The suspect left with only a couple of figurines according to the mother.
