Milford Narrows Down Candidates For Principal of Stacy Middle

The district is looking for a principal and assistant principal of Stacy Middle School and asking for parents input.

MILFORD, MA — Milford Public Schools are on the hunt for a new principal and assistant principal of Stacy Middle School. Principal Nancy Angelini will be stepping out of her current role after being appointed the Director of Grants, Technology and Media. The district has narrowed the candidate list for principal down to three people and assistant principal to four people.

The candidates were interviewed by an interview committee last week. The committee consists of parent and guardian volunteers as well as school officials.

Among the candidates for principal is Stacy Middle School's current assistant principal, Nadine Clifford. She took over as assistant principal in August when Dawn Craig, the former assistant principal, retired. Before coming to Stacy, Clifford was the associate principal at the Walker School in Needham, a private special education residential and day school for children in grades Pre-K-8.
