Milford Police Cruiser Hit On Route 109

MILFORD, MA — A Milford police officer was in the hospital on Friday morning after he was hit in his cruiser while driving on Route 109. The department said both the officer and the other driver involved were taken to the hospital to be evaluated but did not specify if anyone was seriously injured.

The officer was driving a Milford police cruiser east on Route 109 and trying to make a turn when an oncoming car hit him. Both drivers were taken to the Milford Hospital for evaluation.

The accident is being investigated by the Central Massachusetts Crash Reconstruction Team.
