Milford Police Investigate Car Vandalism

Several residents have complained to police about vandalism to their cars.

MILFORD, MA —Police are investigating car vandalism in town after several residents complained about damage to their cars, including slashed tires. Milford police said at least seven vehicles were targeted, all in the same weekend.

Cars in the areas of the Groves and State and School street were vandalized on the weekend of June 28. Police said nothing was stolen from the cars.

A resident took to Patch's Neighbor Posts to share her story of the vandalism. Two tires on her car were slashed at her home in the Groves on June 28. She said two other cars were targeted in the neighborhood, as well.

Local Official Jay Covino, who works for the Milford Police Department and partners with Patch to help inform residents, replied to the woman's Neighbor Post, alerting residents to the investigation.
