Milford Police Nighttime Gun Training Happens In November
Milford police will begin gunfire exercises on Nov. 3 with three more dates this month.
MILFORD, MA — If you hear a lot of gunfire at night this month in Milford, you probably necessarily have to call the police.
Milford officers will begin a series of gun training exercises on Wednesday with three more dates coming up in November. The exercises are required by the state, according to Milford police training officer Michael Mastroianni.
The training will generally happen between 4 and 10 p.m. on Nov. 3, 16, 18 and 20. All exercises will take place at the department's gun range along Route 85/Cedar Street north of Deer Street. The range is near the Upper Charles Trail, and so gunfire might be audible to trail users.
