Milford Police Seek Tips On Smoke Shop Suspect
The man broke into a Milford business on New Year's Eve, according to police.
MILFORD, MA — Milford police are looking for tips about a person who broke into a town smoke shop over the holiday weekend.
According to police, the man broke into Jay's Smoke Shop around 2 a.m. on New Year's Eve. He was caught on a surveillance camera grabbing items from behind the counter before leaving, according to images released by Milford police.
Jay's Smoke Shop has been targeted in the past. Last February, three armed men robbed the Medway Road store, and then caused a serious collision while fleeing from the scene. Milford police in June arrested Akeem Marzouca, of Waltham, and Quentin Waters-Orr and David Abrego, both of Milford, and charged them with armed robbery while masked, possession of a gun during a felony, unlawful carrying of a gun and two counts each of larceny under $1,200.
