In technological achievements the hospital invested in a new robotic surgical system called the da Vinci Xi. The robot replaces the da Vinci Si, which the Medical Center introduced to the community in 2013, and provides patients with fewer and smaller incisions, less pain, less blood loss, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery. Milford Regional also expanded ultrasound services and implemented a new vascular lab with the acquisition of the Park Flow Lab. The hospital's patient portal was updated and enhanced as well.
