Milford Regional's Cardiac Rehabilitation Certified
The hospital was recognized for its commitment to improving the quality of life by enhancing standards of care.

MILFORD, MA—Milford Regional Hospital has got heart. The hospital announced this week the certification of its Cardiac Rehabilitation program by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Milford Regional was recognized for its commitment to improving the quality of life by enhancing standards of care.
Milford Regional’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program participated in an application process that requires extensive documentation of the program’s practices, said the announcement. AACVPR Program Certification is the only peer-review accreditation process designed to review individual programs for adherence to standards and guidelines developed and published by AACVPR and other professional societies.
“Congratulations to our cardiac rehabilitation team for their recognition of excellence in caring for cardiac patients by the AACVPR,” says Edward J. Kelly, president and CEO of Milford Regional, in a statement. “If anyone has ever had the pleasure of witnessing the positive and healing energy that exists between patient and staff during our cardiac rehab program as I have, you understand its significance in supporting a sustained recovery.”
