Milford Residents Experience Morning Power Outages
Thousands of Milford residents woke up in the early morning in the dark.

MILFORD, MA- For those who start their mornings before the sun is out, they may be used to the dark but Monday morning was a different kind of darkness after a power outage affected thousands.
Starting at 5:15 a.m. approximately 3,000 people near Cedar Street and Fortune Boulevard lost power. National Grid Lead Program Manager Bob Kievra said a failed piece of equipment was the cause of the outage. The equipment has since been replaced and National Grid says they don't expect any more problems.
All but 250 people had their power restored by 6 a.m. By 9 a.m. power was restored to the entire area.
