Milford School Committee to Recognize Retiring Teachers Thursday

Milford School Committee Chair Scott Harrison plans to recognize and thank teachers in town who are retiring after years of service at the committee's regularly-scheduled meeting Thursday night. 

As part of the recognition, the following retiring teachers are to be commended:

• Constance Burns: Assistant Principal, Middle School East
• Dorothy Moffett: Music Teacher, Memorial Elementary School
• Frances Morcone: Kindergarten Teacher, Memorial Elementary
• William Gary: Science Teacher, Milford High School
• Edward Theroux: Special Education Teacher, MHS
• Carolyn Brandt: Grade 7 Math Teacher, Stacy Middle School
• Barbara Weddeke: Grade 6 Pull-Out Special Ed. Teacher, SMS
• Nancy Brackett: Art Teacher, Woodland Elementary School
• Hasina Khan: School Psychologist, Woodland Elementary
• Theresa Floyd: Teacher, Woodland Elementary
• Bonnie Bufalo-Derderian: Foreign Language Teacher, SMS
