Milford Schools Teacher Of The Year Nominations Open

You can submit nominations for the Senator Louis Bertonazzi Foundation award through early January.

MILFORD, MA — If you know a Milford Public Schools teacher who has done outstanding work recently, consider nominating them for the annual teacher-of-the-year award. Nominations will be accepted through Jan. 10.

The award is given each year through the Senator Louis P. Bertonazzi Foundation. Nominees must have at least three years of experience as a teacher, and must have displayed "innovative, noteworthy, and effective teaching methods," according to the nomination form.

The winner receives a cash prize, and several runners-up will also be recognized.
