Milford Schools Closed Due To Snow
Milford school officials decided to switch from a delay to a full closure on Monday morning.
MILFORD, MA — Most of Central Massachusetts is under a winter storm warning until 7 a.m. Tuesday, and Milford schools will be closed, officials have decided. The storm is expected to make travel extremely difficult across Massachusetts, especially because of the possibility of ice during the Monday morning commute.
Milford schools initially called for a two-hour delay on Sunday night, but updated the assessment early Monday morning.
The messy storm could drop more than 12 inches of snow in the area by Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. In general, areas north of the Mass Pike will get higher accumulations, according to forecasts.
