Milford Superintendent Chosen for Weston Post

The Weston School Committee voted Monday night to enter contract negotiations with Robert Tremblay to become their next superintendent.

The Weston School Committee voted Monday night to enter contract negotiations with Tremblay to become their next superintendent.

“I am accepting the offer to enter into contract negotiations from Weston Public Schools with mixed emotions,” said Tremblay in a statement. “It presents a new opportunity and challenge for my own professional growth as a career school administrator, but Milford has been and continues to be a wonderful community to serve. Now in my 18th year, it feels more like an extended family.”

Tremblay took the role of superintendent in 2007 and is in his 18th year as a member of the Milord Public Schools. Prior to becoming the superintendent, he was an assistant principal and principal at Memorial Elementary School
