Milford Superintendent Named Finalist for Weston Post

Milford Superintendent Robert Tremblay is one of two finalists to become the head of the Weston Public Schools.

The Weston School Committee recently announced that Tremblay and Chi Kim, the former Superintendent of the Ross School District in Ross, Calif. will participate in finalist interviews this week.

Tremblay has been the Milford Superintendent since 2007, previously holding various positions in the school system.

Prior to Milford, Tremblay was a music teacher in the Dedham Public Schools (1997-1998), the Millis Public Schools (1996-1997) and the Norfolk Public Schools (1995-1996), according to his biography on the Weston Public Schools website.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Boston University, a Masters of Education from Lesley University, and a Master’s in Public Administration and a Doctorate of Education Administration from Northeastern University.

Tremblay and Kim are expected to spend a day in the district with an interview with the school committee to follow as the last event. A final vote is anticipated on Nov. 20.
