MILFORD, MA — Milford school officials have decided to cancel school on Dec. 3. The district had initally called for a two-hour delay on Monday night.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the MetroWest area. The warning lasts through noon on Tuesday, and says that between 4 and 10 inches of new snow could fall across the area.

But students should expect to return to school as normal on Wednesday. It's going to be sunny with highs in the upper 30s — and it will stay that way until at least Friday, according to forecasts.
