Milford Winter Parking Ban: Rules To Know
Everything you need to know to park safely this winter and avoid a headache.

Between snowplowing and parking bans, winter driving can be a real headache. Here is what you need to know to make parking this season a breeze:
Street parking is allowed from Dec. 1 through Mar. 15 unless Milford police issue an emergency parking ban. If a ban is implemented, police will notify all local media and Patch will pass on the information. A notification will also be sent through the connect city notification system.
If you leave your car on the street during an emergency ban, you can expect a $25 ticket and your car might be towed at your own expense.

Parking is available in the municipal lots off of Exchange, Central, Jefferson and Pine streets. Parking in these lots is available until a notification is sent that they are being cleared for snow.
You cannot park in the town hall parking lot or at the Milford Schools, police or fire stations. Those lots must stay empty to clear snow; parking there could get your car towed.
