Milford Woman Charged with Third OUI, Assaulting Officer

Police say a Milford woman was under the influence of alcohol after a hit and run car crash on Colonial Road.

Diane Demoura, 37, was charged with her third drunken driving offense, leaving the scene of property damage, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, and malicious damage to a motor vehicle according to the Milford Police Log.

At approximately 10:17 p.m. on Aug. 22, a hit and run was reported on Colonial Road the suspect’s vehicle was seen leaving the Groves at Milford before returning to the area. Police found the vehicle at the end of Senate Road but needed the use of a taser to subdue Demoura, who was allegedly resisting arrest.

Bail for Demoura was set at $2,500.
